Happy Birthdays!

Both kids have end of summer - back to school birthdays . Much of the back to school shopping can be done for birthday presents.. New backpacks, clothes, and even some cake & toys!

The Dancing Girl..

Well, back from Terpsichore Dance Celebration... The kids did fantastic up against some fierce competition. Smiles all around and some pretty tired girlies...here's a collage from the day :)

Austin went to  Beethovan pillow concert with his dad this morning so I'll get the details on that in the morning when he gets home from his sleepover @ grandmas.

Okay , so my boy is all packed and ready to go to Grandma and Grandpa's for a sleepover. One day at Emma's dance competion was enough for him...He is a trooper . Have fun @ grandmas little buddy.

Emma's extended jazz line won a diamond award and first place, so they dance in the diamond dance off on Sunday evening. We have the day off today and she has three more numbers saturday, so we'll see you soon...Here she is entering medieval faire @ canada's wonderland and posing by the fountain outside the theatre.

 It was interesting seeing the huge theme park deserted except for the off season work being done on the HUGE new roller coaster (150 km/hr) LEVIATHAN...won't catch me on that...I'll try and get a picture of the car running it's test runs but it will be pretty blurry with the average camera...

CanDance and a garage sale...

Okay , so I am packing for another dance competition and packaging stuff up for a garage sale at a local scrap store this weekend. 
I am swimming in supplies from the old school days and have heavily sorted stuff that my little protege will get to use, however there is still a mountain of stuff that I am willing to part with in order to buy new stuff. 
My hubby is just happy that I am downsizing , and cleaning up a bit, so don't tell him that my sales are for store credit (for new stuff) LOL

Emma and her peeps are dancing at Canada's wonderland this weekend and changing in trailers behind the theatre because it is too small to accomodate all the dancers, so she is picturing warner brothers back lot with the 'stars' trailers and I am bracing for tractor trailers with dirty floors and ramps with three white costumes and pink and tan tights ACKKKKK! I will let you know :)

well, day two and what a blizzard overnight. I wasnt too impressed driving to work in that this morning...the kids had a fun breakfast with daddy and Miss emma went to grandma Heinbuch's to help take down christmas decorations and a sleepover and Austin is watching movies in his sister's bedroom tonight...missing her...Maybe I'll get some crafting time later tonight ,got a christmas layout in mind.
